The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation jointly with the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation plan to develop a program to increase labor productivity

Russia needs to increase labor productivity at an accelerated rate on 5-6% annually, President Vladimir Putin has said on Tuesday, during a meeting of Russian Presidential Council for strategic development and priority projects. According to him, Russia is more than twice lag behind the developed countries in terms of indicators in this area and, in the case of inaction, this gap can become even greater.

Citizens rationally use only 40% of the working time, the remaining 60% are spent ineffectively: for example, on smoke and lunch, the experts' study of "Support of Russia" confirms the words of the President.

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation jointly with the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation plan to develop a program to increase labor productivity before the end of the summer and to begin testing it in the pilot regions in the fall, Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin has said during the meeting of the Presidential Council.

What will the program be like while it is not known, but the minister noted that one of the main measures to change the situation will be the creation of a federal competence center based on Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs. Its main task will be to spread the best world and Russian experience in increases productivity level field and organizing work.
