Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reports about the possibility of transfer of state employee’s salary to "Mir" payment system from the second half of 2017

The Government of the Russian Federation supports the gradual transfer of state employee’s salary to "Mir" card payment system. It can start from the second half of 2017. This is reported by the Anton Siluanov Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation at a conference of the Association of Russian Banks.

"We hope that, starting from the second half of this year, we will begin a gradual transfer of state employee’s salary to a new domestic system", - Siluanov added.

The State Duma is currently considering a bill on the transfer of all budget and social payments to the cards of the national payment system "Mir" from January 1, 2018. The bill was passed in the first reading in late February.
