Rustam Minnikhanov pays a working visit to the USA

On April 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is paying a working visit to the USA. Minister of Education and Science of the republic Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Information and Communication of the repubic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin, CEO of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, representatives of regional special economic zones and leading enterprises are accompanying Minnikhanov.

Yesterday, members of Tatarstan delegation visited the office of California Governor Jerry Brown, where they had bilateral meetings with representatives of the state leadership and the American business community. The development of cooperation in trade and economic, scientific, technical, investment and educational spheres was discussed.

Representatives of Tatarstan also got acquainted with the experience of California in the development of medical infrastructure, business incubators, engineering centres, scientific and educational facilities, etc.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov held a working meeting which considered further steps to expand the interaction between the Republic of Tatarstan and the state of California.
