Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation gave a preliminary assessment of the budget deficit for the first quarter of 2017

According to preliminary estimates, the deficit of the federal budget of Russia for January-March amounted 1.4% of GDP or 274.2 billion rubles. This was announced by Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Revenues of budget totaled 3.63 trillion rubles for the three months; expenses - 3.907 trillion rubles.

The Federal Tax Service transferred to the budget 2,382 trillion rubles for three months; The Federal Customs Service of Russia - 1.029 trillion rubles; other federal bodies - 221.15 billion rubles.

The primary budget deficit was 0.4% of GDP, or 81.63 billion rubles.

According to preliminary estimates of the ministry, the budget deficit reached 2.6% of GDP, or 193.25 billion rubles in March.

The budget for the current year is formed with a deficit of 3.2% of GDP at the average annual oil price $ 40 per barrel.
