Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation has completely transferred control over state purchases to Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed decrees about transferring responsibility for the information system of state purchases to the Federal Treasury and transferring the authority to develop a policy of state purchases to Ministry of Finance. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said about this at a meeting with vice premiers.
Prior to this time responsibilities of control of state purchases were distributed between the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
