Dmitry Medvedev instructed to increase grants for successful regions by another 10 billion rubles

Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed to increase grants to the most successful regions by another 10 billion rubles. According to the official website of the Cabinet, the head of the government gave these instructions following the results of the discussion in the state Duma of the report on the work of the Cabinet during 2016.
Also, Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is entrusted to proceed from the fact that the distribution of transfers to regions should be carried out exclusively by federal law on the federal budget, while drafting the federal budget for 2018-2020.
