Finance Ministry proposes to refinance foreign currency loans of subjects of the Russian Federation on the average exchange rate in 2014. This was reported in the State Duma, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
On March 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony dedicated to 5th anniversary of non-profit organization “Regional foundation of the revival of historical and cultural monuments” at Kachalov Kazan academic Russian big drama theatre.
Chairman of the Board of guardians of the “Revival” Foundation, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, CEO of the foundation Tatyana Larionova, heads of ministries and agencies and municipal regions took part in the event.

On March 23, at a session of the working group on modernization of monotowns under Government commission on economic development and integration held by Deputy Chairman of State corporation "Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Activities" Irina Makieva, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that modernization of monotowns is a topical problem for the republic.

On March 21, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin said that according to the Tatarstan State housing inspectorate, major repair started in 658 of 999 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities in the republic. Repair works for the sum of 1 billion 80 million and 276 thousand roubles have been fulfilled.

On March 19, at his meeting with delegation of the international rating agency Standard&Poor's, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov told about social and economic development of the republic. He noted that Tatarstan is the leader among Russian regions by overall agricultural industrial output, and capital investments.

The proposed tax on financial result (NFR) for the oil industry, as well as the current tax on mineral extraction is not universal and can not be replicated on all deposits, as those fields that are tax-free, will have a negative effect, Deputy Minister Finance Sergey Shatalov during parliamentary hearings in the State Duma.
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov confirmed that the government plans on Monday, March 16 to the State Duma amendments to the federal budget for 2015.
