On March 26, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular board meeting of the Tatneft Oil Company. 

The Board considered the budget execution of the Tatneft Oil Company for two months of 2015 and approved the budget for April and the second quarter of this year.

The Finance Ministry does not consider overly pessimistic amendments to the budget for 2015, falling incomes, is likely to be in line with expectations, the head of the Ministry of Anton Siluanov.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan held meetings with the heads of financial bodies of municipal and urban districts on the execution of local budgets in January-February 2015 and the expected performance for March 2015.

On March 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on modernising the comprehensive education management system.

Opening the meeting, he reminded in February this year at the meeting of the Security Council Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov named three problems which need to be solved to improve the quality of education in the republic. They are ineffective methodological services, ineffective remuneration system and a great number of low-competence schools. All these factors jeopardized both socio-economic progress and current achievements in economic growth versus other Russian regions, Khalikov noted.

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov considers it appropriate to initiate a process to reduce the salaries of management in state-owned companies. He expressed this opinion at today's meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget.
