On February 3, speaking at a meeting dedicated to results of the work of  Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism  in 2015, the Committee Chairman Sergei Ivanov said that the volume of tourism services rendered in Tatarstan amounted to 11.3 billion roubles without related industries last year, which is 12.8 per cent more as compared to the same period in 2014, with the total turnover of the tourism industry in the reporting year amounted to 18.4 billion roubles.

On February 2, at a session of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov said that the order has been imposed in real estate industry whereas there is still much to do in the sphere of land relations.

On February 1, speaking at a summing-up meeting of the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov said that results of diagnostic tests of teachers obtained in some regions of the republic cause doubt in their objectivity.

Fattakhov reminded that 14,590 primary school teachers of the republic took diagnostic tests on their subject knowledge in the unified state exam format for the first time in Tatarstan last year.  

On January 28, at their meeting in Kazan, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Castorama Rus Director for Property and Development Michel Chaize discussed the company’s entry into the Tatarstan market.

On January 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Russian Social Insurance Fund Andrei Kigim visited new consulting customer center of Social Insurance Fund in Kazan, Tatarstan, where they were told about the center’s role and services. The President tested special systems made for handicapped people, and the electronic queue.

On January 27, Tatarstan Prime Minister held a board session of OAO “Tatenergosbyt” power supply company, Tatarstan, Russia. The company Director Rifnur Suleimanov made a report on main results of 2015 and presented the information about financial activity and debts of consumers for power supply services.

On January 27, at a summary session of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency at Kazan IT-park, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that attraction of investments is a complicated task which depends on foreign political situation in the world and internal situation in the country.  

On January 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a board session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” (a coordination and expert centre, working in a wide range of business lines of Gas & Petrochemical Complex, Kazan).

Minister of Finance A. Siluanov  held a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Finance of the priorities for 2016 on January 22, 2016. The event was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina. 

For the growth of the Russian economy requires structural reforms, said Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, the Russian Federation Ministry of Finance on the expanded board.
