On February 24, at a briefing at Tatarstan cabinet of ministers, Minister of economy Artem Zdunov said that the republic will apply for participation in the contest of Russian Ministry of Economic Development on supporting small and medium-size enterprises.
On February 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of Russian State Council on measures on increasing economic stability of regions held by the President Vladimir Putin.
On February 24, speaking at a session of the Federal bailiff Service in Tatarstan Chief Bailiff of the republic Radik Ilyasov reported that as a result of enforcement procedures Tatarstan bailiffs collected 8.5 billion roubles, including 2.9 billion roubles in the consolidated budget.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is with official Russian delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov in Abu Dhabi.
Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in opening of the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2015 (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, February 22).
Members of Russian delegation will also meet UAE authorities and representatives of military agencies, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the intergovernmental Russian-Emirate commission for trade, economic and technical cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

On February 21, speaking at a regional video-conference meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on implementation of the programmes in the construction sector in Tatarstan.
He said that the 2015 major repair programme started in 477 of 999 multi-apartment houses in 41 municipalities.

Deputies of the State Council held a first reading of a bill to amend the law on the republican budget for 2015. The document was presented by Finance Minister Radik Gaizatullin.
Presenting the bill that was introduced in Parliament by the Government of the Republic, Minister stressed that proposed to increase the maximum amount of public debt for 2015 and provide the Cabinet of Ministers the right to increase the amount of state guarantees with corresponding changes in the sources of financing the budget deficit and the text of the budget law.

On February 18, at his meeting with the Turkish delegation at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We appreciate high level of relations between Tatarstan and Turkey and put much emphasis on developing cooperation aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Russia and Turkey.”
The Turkish delegation consists of representatives of the Association of Exporters of Eastern Anatolia, Association of Exporters of Mediterranean region, Sasu Company (seafood production), organized industrial zone “Erzurum”, Association of Exporters of animal products, Guney Sut (production of milk and juices), Association of Exporters of forest products, and Intertim (production of wood and packaging products).

On February 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who took part in a joint session of Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Economy of the republic, said that in 2014 the gross regional product of the republic amounted to 1.631 trillion roubles, while the amount of investment in fixed assets made 542 billion roubles.
