On June 28 at a general shareholders meeting of OAO Tatneft Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the reporting year was not easy for republic. However, due to stable activity of key industries, annual results were good enough. 

Thus, the Gross Regional Product has increased by 5,5 per cent and made 1 trillion 415 bln rubles. Oil production has increased by 26 per cent. 
After putting into operation “TANECO” Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants 14 mln tons of oil have been refined. 

As for social orientation of the budget, the level of priority expenses made 76 per cent. Tatneft made a considerable contribution to this sphere by transferring 22 bln rubles to the consolidated budget.

On June 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session held by Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, who summarized results of work on analysis and monitoring of problems of municipalities in Samara.

Opening the event, Mikhail Babich said that the issue had been discussed before. He continued that work of municipalities is regulated by the Federal Law No.131. A number of problems have been revealed during its practical realization. In particular, he mentioned insufficient resource potential, low fiscal capacity, undue inspections of control bodies, low level of labour payment. 
On June 27 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held an annual shareholders meeting of OAO Grid company. Company’s Director General Ilshat Fardiev presented results of financial and economic activity by results of work in 2012.

Thus, proceeds from rendering of service increased by 4 per cent and made 19,2 bln rubles. Company’s net profit accounted for 4,1 bln rubles. 20 thousand requests for technological connection of power receivers to electricity networks were received in 2012. The number of signed contracts for technological connection increased by 26 per cent. 

The company has fulfilled all tasks with good economic and production results.

Today, as part of the official visit of the international rating agency Fitch Ratings, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin met with the agencyin the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. Radik Gaizatullin spoke in detail about the socio-economic development and the state budget of the Republic of Tatarstan by the end of 2012.
Employees of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in a video conference held by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on 26 June 2013 in order to fulfill the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 07.05.2012 № 601 "On the main directions of improving governance" under development at the regional level, the regulatory impact assessment procedures, draft regulations regulations. During the video conference  the procedures of the regulatory impact assessment and other relevant issues were discussed.
On June 26 at a republican meeting on agricultural issues in Kukmor region Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that unfavourable weather conditions would affect this year’s harvest and agricultural workers should do their best to provide forage reserve and bread. 

We are coming to the most responsible period for the whole agricultural industry, Rustam Minnikhanov continued.

He noted that plant growing sector is in poor state because of previous three years of unfavourable weather conditions. Besides, not all enterprises were ready for new conditions after Russia joined the WTO.

On June 26 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and officials of the international rating agency Fitch Ratings discussed readiness of Tatarstan for summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, condition of roads and sports venues constructed for the World sport student games.

They also focused on further development of Tatarstan economy and qualitative financial management. 

Fitch Ratings is one of top three leading rating agencies, which provides services in the sphere of credit ratings, carries out research and analysis of debt instruments and securities. 
Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan held a video conference on 25.06.2013 with the heads of financial departments of municipalities. Meeting covered the insurance premiums to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation from municipalities, additional sources for increasing the salaries of public sector employees, posting information about the establishments on the official website of the government of the Russian Federation and municipal institutions. Based on the discussion results the financial managers were given  the relevant instructions.

Increase of salaries of civil servants should be accompanied by reductions in their numbers. This opinion was expressed by Minister of Finance Minister Anton Siluanov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"In our opinion, the raise wages without reducing the size, with no reduction of social benefits is simply impossible. This is wrong, "- he said.

Anton Siluanov noted that civil servants could be recognized as members of relevant government agencies ranging from the level of deputy department head.

On June 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in official opening of Planetarium at V.P. Engelgardt Astronomical Observatory. Total area of the Planetarium is 15 hectares. 

The foundation of new Planetarium was laid on August 22 in 2011.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that it was a unique event. “There are strong scientific potential and skilled specialists working at the observatory. Opening of the Planetarium is a new stage in promoting scientific knowledge and enhancing prestige of science,” he continued. 

Rustam Minnikhanov presented Letter of Gratitude to Director General of OOO “Global Soft” I.Khairullin for contribution to provision of V.P. Engelgardt Astronomical Observatory with state-of-the-art equipment.
