Today, at a meeting of the State Council of Tatarstan, the draft Law "On Amendments to Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan" on the Value property of the organizations was adopted on first and second reading. "As explained by the keynote speaker on the subject of the agenda, Finance Minister Radik Gaizatullin , Republic of Tatarstan law "On the Value property of the organizations' established preferential rate of 0.01 per cent on the property tax for multi-level and underground parking (parking lots), build since January 1, 2011 to July 1, 2013 with the number of parking spaces of 150 units. This exemption is aimed at freeing passages from natural parking of vehicles to improve the capacity of road-street network. However, due to the cramped conditions of land identified for the construction of these parking lots, as well as restrictions on building height, operating in the inner cities, the capacity of the individual objects is less than 150 parking spaces.

An implemention of the tax on real estate in Tatarstan will be phased. This was reported on May 30 at the session of the State Council of Tatarstan Minister of Finance of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin.

Russia plans to introduce a tax on real estate for individuals in 2014, which will bring together yet applicable taxes on property and land. It will be calculated on the basis of the cadastral estimation of the market, not the inventory, as now, the cost of real estate.

The State Council of Tatarstan has reviewed and approved the draft national law "On the Budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2012" in the first and third reading.  The speaker on the issue was the Minister of Finance of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin. According to the head of the republican Ministry of Finance, the revenue side of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan was executed in the amount of 177.2 billion rubles, including mobilized tax and non-tax revenues - 127.9 billion rubles. In its own tax revenue is the most voluminous income tax, which was received in the amount of 59.5 billion rubles.

Tatneftekhiminvest Holding on Wednesday at the House of Tatarstan Government held its annual general meeting, chaired by President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting discussed the 2012 performance.

General director, Rafinat Yarullin, delivered a report, saying the Tatarstan’s oil, gas and petrochemistry complex development programme for 2010-2014 had continued to be implemented in the expired year. A total of 235 billion roubles in capital investment had been disbursed over its course, he said, output increasing by 24 percent, productivity by 27 percent and added value by 52 percent.

Answering journalists’ questions in Mustafino village (Orenburg region) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Orenburg region are neighbours and cooperate in trade-economic, cultural, educational and social spheres. 

To the point, the museum complex named after Musa Dzhalil opened today in Mustafino village. 

Rustam Minnikhanov told about the meeting with Tatars and thanked leadership of the region for providing necessary conditions for preservation of their culture. He continued that Tatarstan and Orenburg region are Russian leading industrial centres and main task of two regions is to expand trade and economic relations. 

Governor of Orenburg region Yuri Berg said that cooperation between municipalities situated at the border with Tatarstan Republic was discussed at the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov. 

High-speed railway service is planned to be provided on the Moscow – N. Novgorod – Kazan line.

A trip from Kazan to Moscow will take 3.5 hours, Gorky Railway’s Kazan branch deputy chief told journalists.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation - the head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Agency) Olga Dergunova today. The meeting was held at the House of the Government of Tatarstan and was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Information and Communications of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Assistant to the President Ayrat Nurutdinov, head of the territorial department of the Federal Agency for State Property Management of Tatarstan in Elena Patkina etc.
On May 20 at his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Governor of Leningrad region Aleksandr Drozdenko said that the visit of the delegation to Tatarstan is of practical kind and is aimed at getting familiar with Tatarstan experience in different spheres. 

Welcoming the Governor, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Leningrad region in September 2011 left a good impression on them. 

Then, Tatarstan President told about economic development of the republic and major investment projects implemented in Tatarstan. Participants of the meeting also discussed cooperation of two regions and answered journalists’ questions. 

The delegation will visit seed-production complex in Sabinsky region because similar complex has recently started working in Leningrad region. 

Tatarstan experience in developing petrochemical complexes and technoparks can also be useful for Leningrad region.

Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned Ford Sollers, the joint project of Tatarstan and Leningrad region. Assembly plants are located in both regions. Besides, he paid attention to a very good geographic location of Leningrad region, which makes the region attractive for cooperation. 

Tatarstan President continued that Leningrad region has a developed Agro-industrial complex that is very important for Tatarstan.
