The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin spoke in detail about the budget, about the trends of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the framework of the official visit by the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. Moody's examined economical development of Tatarstan in order to set up a rating for a new time period.
On May 22 within the framework of Tomsk innovation forum INNOVUS-2013 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia. 

Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Association had performed a large amount of work and already presented some proposals on state support of engineering centres to the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. He also asked to intensify work on promotion of the Association’s interests in the State Duma. 

Among priority tasks Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out development of state support measures for innovative clusters, engineering centres, and participation in elaboration of the law about Federal contract system. 

Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, in particular, told about work of the qualification committee and development of criteria of activity of technoparks. 

Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Siberian Federal District Viktor Tolokonsky, in his turn, thanked members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia for active and well-coordinated work. 

Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov noted constantly growing level of the event, the imposing composition of participants, and a great deal of interesting projects.

Russia produced 171 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in January-April, 0.2% more than in the same period of last year, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, reports Interfax.

Natural gas production, including associated gas, grew 1.4% to 244 billion cubic meters.

Oil refinery throughputs grew 1.3% to 88.5 million tonnes.

Gasoline production grew 3.6% to 12.7 million tonnes and diesel grew 1.9% to 23 million tonnes, but heating oil production fell 1.5% to 25.1 million tonnes.

Finance Minister of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin reported today the members of the Committee of the State Council of Tatarstan on Budget, Taxes and Finance on the implementation of the national budget for the I quarter of 2013.
The Ministry of Finance may adjust the forecast budget deficit in 2014 due to reduced revenues by 650 billion rubles. This was announced today by Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov. According to him, changing economic growth forecast ministry lead to lower revenue forecast next year.
The Ministry of Finance has developed a draft law on the formula for calculating the severance tax on gas. The relevant draft federal law "On Amending Chapter 26, part II of the Tax Code," published by the Ministry.

On May 21 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with officials of the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service at Tatarstan Government House. Minister of finance Radik Gaizatullin and other officials took part in the meeting. 

Prospects of further cooperation between Tatarstan and Moody’s Investors Service, and increase of Tatarstan investment potential were discussed at the event. 
Coordination of the activities of territorial bodies federal executive authorities and control over the implementation of the decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, as well as the preservation of ethnic harmony and combating religious extremism - are the main challenges to be addressed to Renat Timerzyanov in a new position - the chief federal inspector for the RT. This was announced today at the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On May 21 at a meeting with Finland delegation led by Director General of Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Juha Ojala Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that Finland experience is interesting for Tatarstan. 

At first Ildar Khalikov welcomed the delegation in hospitable Tatarstan and thanked them for the visit. He continued that for the last few years cooperation between Tatarstan and Finland had been quite effective. 

Ildar Khalikov noted that much emphasis is put on issues of stable forest management, adoption of advanced domestic and foreign technologies in Tatarstan. He reminded that he largest in Europe seed-production centre had been built in Sabinsky region. 

Tatarstan Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev told in details about cooperation between Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry and Finland. In particular, Russian and Finnish forest complexes had been closely cooperating on issues connected with development and increase of efficiency of forestry sector. Last year in November employees of Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry underwent internship at leading Finnish research centres and universities. 

Director General of Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Juha Ojala thanked republican leadership for warm reception and interesting programme. He continued that the parties had quickly reached common ground, and exchanging experience on discussed issues is very important.
