On May 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Saint Petersburg to take part in the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), to hold meetings with representatives of foreign and domestic companies, including SUEZ, MasterCard, Air Liquide, IBM, Yokogawa Electric, Agrotorg and a number of other companies, and to take part in the signing of different cooperation agreements.

On May 23, in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all workers of the industry on the Chemist’s Day.

On May 16, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Coordination Commission for countering corruption in Tatarstan, which considered the issue on countering corruption work in 2017 and measures to eliminate its causes and conditions and tasks for 2018.

On May 16, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of AB InBev Company in Russia and Ukraine Dmitry Shpakov.

On May 11, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilites of the republic Aleksey Frolov reported that as of May 10, as many as 1,042,500 square meters of housing, which makes 43.4 per cent of the plan for the current year and 123 per cent as compared to the same period last year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.
