The draft Law "On approval of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014" was reviewed by the deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. Finance Minister Radik Gaizatullin introduced the draft law in first reading. The document was adopted in general as a result of the parliament hearings.

On June 9, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Olga Dergunova discussed interaction of the republic with the Federal Property Management Agency, and improvement of land relations in the republic.

On June 8, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiří Koliba.
The Czech delegation led by Jiří Koliba arrived in Kazan to attend the next meeting of the joint working group on coordination of economic and trade cooperation between the Czech Republic and Tatarstan.

On June 8, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of the Oryol region Vadim Potomsky at the Kazan Kremlin.
The Agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation was signed between the regions.
“I have arrived to learn from Rustam Minnikhanov how to develop a region. There is much to learn from. I expected it would be great here, but I have seen even more,” the Governor said.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Oryol region has industrial and agricultural potential. “The steps being taken now on creation of a specialized economic zone, and other structural reforms mean that you are willing to make the region highly developed,” Minnikhanov said.
Potomsky, in his turn, said that utility and road machinery using KAMAZ chassis is produced in the region now.

On June 6, speaking at a press conference on the reconstruction of parks and public gardens, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that about 30 parks and public gardens will be reconstructed in Kazan alone within the framework of the Year of Parks and Public Gardens in Tatarstan, with a total of 144 such “green spots” in the republic. He said that more than works at 100 facilities are already underway.

Russia is able to feed itself. This was stated by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at the plenary session "Food safety of Russia in the new economy" in the I National Forum of Food Safety. Dmitry Medvedev also noted that the results of the policy of import substitution now quite acceptable. According to him, food imports declined for five months by a third, with exports of agricultural and food products increased by 40%.

On June 4, speaking at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on results of work of fuel-energy and housing-utilities sectors in heating period of 2014/2015 and tasks on efficient preparation for heating period 2015/2016 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that one criterion for the heating supply work in Tatarstan is the decreased number of complaints from consumers.
