During the visit to Jakarta Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with First Vice-Minister of Industry of Indonesia Alex Retraubun.

Rustam Minnikhanov focused on most perspective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Indonesia and told about economic potential of Tatarstan. He said that Russia’s joining the WTO opens new opportunities for Tatarstan export companies, and Tatarstan leadership can provide favourable conditions for foreign investors.

At the seminars-meetings with the Heads of rural and urban settlements held 23-25 ​​April in Aznakayevo, Mendeleevsk and Apastovo, representative of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Larisa Makarova offered information about the changes in terms of intergovernmental relations and the progress of higher wages of public sector employees. The workshop participants were interested in the possibility of co-financing from the national budget development master plans of settlements, costs incurred at the expense of self-taxation of citizens, as well as the sources of funds for inventory and assessment of real estate. There have been proposals for stimulating the growth of the tax base of local budgets and concerns about the inaccuracy of the information base transferred from the bodies of Roseestr on the property of individuals.

Today, the director of "Tatenergosbyt" Rifnur Suleymanov celebrates 50 years jubilee. On this auspicious occasion he was congratulated by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gayzatullin. On behalf of Ministry of Finance staff  Radik Gayzatullin wished him success in his work, the implementation of all plans, good health, prosperity, optimism, great human happiness.

At annual shareholders’ meeting of OAO “Kazanorgsintez” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the company’s priority task is provision of high-quality raw materials to use production capacities at full. 

Director General of OAO “Kazanorgsintez” Farid Minigulov presented report on results of company’s activity in 2012. In particular, he said that good financial results were obtained. Net profit made 3,28 bln rubles, proceeds increased by 22 per cent, physical overall production increased by 16 per cent. Average salary accounted for 31,5 thousand rubles. 

At a republican meeting of financial, treasury and tax agencies Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We should spend budget funds efficiently without increasing expenses and expecting extra income.” 

All municipal regions took part in the meeting at which results of Tatarstan consolidated budget execution for the first quarter of 2013 were discussed and tasks of financial, treasury and tax agencies for 2013 were set. 

Rustam Minnikhanov continued that the balanced financial result of enterprises’ work for January 2013 was by 17 per cent less than for the same last year period. He reminded that Tatarstan is an export-oriented republic and the situation in EU countries affects republican economy. Besides, we felt a considerable impact when Russia joined the WTO, Rustam Minnikhanov said. 

The President stated that priority issues are adoption of lean production principles, resource and energy consumption, and improvement of personnel efficiency. 

Another matter of concern is a considerable increase in total amount of salaried in budget spheres. 

“However, all set tasks are being fulfilled and all social benefits are paid,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
