The Finance Ministry and lead managers of Russian sovereign Eurobonds will have to decide in late February whether to conduct road show of Eurobonds or no, said Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak on Wednesday.
"We should decide with potential lead managers by the end of February  whether we will make road show, or are we a known borrower that lead managers to provide output without road show", - he said.

S.Storchak said that it is considering issuing bonds in dollars. In addition, it would be preferable placement of bonds for the full amount at once in the program of $ 7 billion loans for 2013.

“Sales turnover between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volgograd region made 5,2 bln roubles in 2011. Today we have to increase this rate considerably,” President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with Governor of the Volgograd region Sergei Bozhenov. 

The meeting was held in Governor’s building of the Kazan Kremlin with participation of the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov, Deputy PM and Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin.

To the point, delegation of the Volgograd region led by the Governor Sergei Bozhenov arrived in Kazna with a two-day visit (January, 15-16). Members of the delegation visited several sport objects, transport junctions, got familiar with activity of Himgrad technopark and Agro-industrial park.

Session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Board chaired by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held at the RT Government House today.

Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin made report about activity of Tatarstan’s oil-gas-chemical enterprises in 2012. According to preliminary estimate, companies have held leading positions in All-Russia production of monomers, polymers, rubber, synthetic washing agents, tyres and oil. 

Republic has taken the 6th place by the refining output. Production output increased by 7,2 percent in 2012. The highest rates were observed in manufacture of oil products and rubber items. Key leading enterprises were the Tatneft tyre complex, “Nefis Cosmetics”, “Kazanorgsintez”,”KVART”.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting dedicated to realisation of the project of territorially detached innovation center “Innopolis”. The meeting took place at the RT Government House with participation of the Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov.

Participants of the meeting discussed issues of further development of the “Innopolis” project, construction of engineering and transport infrastructure. 

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Innopolis is one of major projects being realised in Tatarstan. 20 bln dollars are to be spent within a year and a half or two years. In this respect, Tatarstan will face certain investment commitments. 

To the point, in November 2012Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev signed an Edict on establishing a special economic zone of industrial-production type Innopolis. The special economic zone is meant to be established on two sites, notably in Verkhny Uslon and Laishevo municipal regions.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Director for humanitarian projects of OAO RUSNANO, President of All-Russia public movement “Union of Right Forces” Leonid Gozman.

The meeting took place at the Kazan Kremlin with participation of Tatarstan’s Deputy PM Ravil Muratov, Aide to the RT President Airat Khairullin, Chairman of coordination council for support and development of small and medium-size business in RT, President of the Center of microfinancing Pavel Sigal.

Prospects of the Republic of Tatarstan as an attractive place for Malaysian investors were presented at Malaysia-Tatarstan investment seminar in Kuala-Lumpur today. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the seminar at headquarters of the Malaysian Investment Development Agency (MIDA). 

Malaysian Minister of international trade and industry Dato' Seri Mustapha Bin Mohamed, Ambassador of Russia to Malaysia Lyudmila Vorobeva, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, and other members of the Tatarstan delegation participated in the meeting with potential investors.

“Cyberjaya experience in the sphere of establishing IT city Cyberjaya is very interesting for Tatarstan in terms of Innopolis project realization,” the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said while visiting Cyberjaya within the framework of his visit to Malaysia.

Members of the Tatarstan delegation visited head office of the Malaysian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) in Cyberjaya where the state Super Corridor program and Cyberjaya city were presented. 

The state program «Multimedia Super Corridor» was launched in 1996 in Malaysia. Its mission was to turn Malaysia into a dynamic player on IT arena. The program implied active attraction of foreign companies to Malaysia, thus giving impetus to development of local IT industry. 
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented Tatarstan’s industrial and investment potential during the working visit of the Russian delegation to the Kingdom of Thailand. 

The presentation was held at a meeting between the Russian Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov and Thailand Minister of industry Mr. Prasert Boonchaisuk. Rustam Minnikhanov told about Tatarstan’s social and economic development. He noted that the largest automotive plant OJSC “KAMAZ” and new automotive plant “Ford-Sollers” were located in Tatarstan. 

Rustam Minnikhanov also informed that synthetic rubber and 40 % of Russian polymers were produced in Tatarstan. Moreover, two special economic zones are situated in republic, notably SEZ Alabuga and special economic zone of industrial and innovative type “Innopolis”.

811 apartment houses in 41 municipalities of Tatarstan will be capitally repaired this year in the programframework. The total amount of funds provided is over 4.35 billion rub. According to program, capital repairs of 948 apartment houses, a total area of 6 million square meters were carried out in 2012. Amount of financing for the 2012 year equals to almost 4,74 billion rubles.
