On August 28 at a meeting with representatives of Hyundai Corporation Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in cooperation with Hyundai Corporation in a number of areas, including waste utilization and management, oil refining and power engineering.

On August 27 at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House Deputy Minister of Culture Guzel Nigmatullina informed that the budget of IX International festival of Muslim cinema (September 5-11) will make15 mln rubles.
She said that Kazan festival is an incentive mechanism for Tatarstan film making industry. The number and quality of Tatartsan-made films shown at the festival increases every year, more and more honourable guests visit the event.

On August 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Ambassador of Thailand to Russia Mr Itti Ditbanjong. Welcoming the guest, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded about development of relations between Tatarstan and Thailand.
In June 2012 Thailand Minister of Trade and the Minister and Agriculture and Cooperation visited Kazan within the framework of APEC summit, in January 2013 Tatarstan President took part in a session of Russian-Thailand intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Bangkok. The same session was held in Moscow with participation of Tatarstan officials.

The event was held at the Government building of Volgograd region in presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the region Sergei Bozhenov.

On August 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a number of industrial enterprises in Volgograd region.

On August 25 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a welcome reception on behalf of Governor of the Volgograd region Sergei Bozhenov during his two-day working trip to Volgograd (August 25-26, 2013).

On August 24 results of transport service organization during the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 were summarized at an expanded meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Russian Minister of Transport Maksin Sokolov took part in the meeting.
On August 24 at a weekly regional meeting chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of 2013, 1 mln 421.9 thousand square meters of housing (60% of the year plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 102.5 percent compared to the last year.

On August 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed a number of orders on personnel replacements in state authorities.
In accordance with Tatarstan President’s Order No.823 dated 23.08.2013 Asgat Safarov was assigned Chief Executive of Tatarstan President’s Office and Yuri Kamaltynov was assigned Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan in accordance with the order No.822 dated 23.08.2013.
In accordance with Tatarstan President’s Order No.823 dated 23.08.2013 Asgat Safarov was assigned Chief Executive of Tatarstan President’s Office and Yuri Kamaltynov was assigned Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan in accordance with the order No.822 dated 23.08.2013.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan continues meetings with organizations to review the results for the 1st half of 2013, expected performance and payments to the budget for 2013 and the forecast for 2014-2016.
