The Association of innovative regions of Russia is an efficient organisation for sharing experience and joint promotion of interests of the Russian subjects. Such a statement was made by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in Novosibirsk at the international innovation forum “Interra-2012”. The Association of innovative regions of Russia is among organisers of the event.

In the interview President of Tatarstan noted that the forum “Interra-2012” held in Novosibirsk, one of the country’s leading scientific centers, is a good place for meetings and establishing interregional contacts in the sphere of innovations.

“As the President of republic and Chairman of the Association of innovative regions of Russia I enjoy being present at this forum. An interesting session was held today, and I hope there will be other interesting meetings during the trip,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He also noted that every region that is a member of the association enjoys benefit.

Notwithstanding alarming processes happening in the global economy, the Republic of Tatarstan plans to finish 2012 with a stable 5 percent growth, the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated presenting his annual message to deputies at a session of the Tatarstan State Council.

The session took place in a big concert hall named after Salikh Saidashev. Representatives of federal and republican authorities, local self-government, public and religious organisations, trade unions, business, education, health care, culture and mass media, by and large, about 700 people, were invited to the event.

Due to importance of the considered issue live TV and radio broadcast of the session was organised. On-line broadcast was also available on the website of the RT State Council.

Realization of big projects aimed at maximum processing of hydrocarbon materials will favour competitive growth of Tatarstan. These projects are “TANECO”, “Ammoni”, construction of ethylene production plant with capacity of 1 mln tons per year at OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and Complex for advanced processing of heavy charge at OAO “TAIF-NK”,” the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated presenting his annual message to deputies at a session of the Tatarstan State Council.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Aktanyshsky, Baltasinsky and Sabinsky regions already have proven experience of using market tools.

“Efficiency of land and equipment usage, and labour efficiency must be priority tasks of our agro-industrial policy,” he said.

The Federal state autonomous institution “training center” of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service has opened in Kazan. Chief of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemiev and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening ceremony. 
The Center aims to promote development of competition in our country, expand business opportunities, and train skilled staff for antimonopoly bodies
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan held video conference on the implementation of an automated accounting system of children enrolled in institutions of further education, and attendance children circles and sections. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of State "Center of Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of local authorities Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting discussed the issues and problems of municipal and state institutions in establishing an electronic database of students while taking applications from students for admission to the interest clubs electronically. The deadline for the completion of this work is set at  September 15, 2012.

.5 mln requests, 114 000 applications have been sent to the Portal of state and municipal services, more than 2.5 mln people signed up for the electronic queue and made 1.1 mln electronic payments for the sum of 416.5 mln roubles in January-August 2012.

In comparison with the same period of the last year, the growth made 48 percent. Such information was presented by Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Anisa Gainullina at a briefing at the RT Government House.

To the point, electronic services were launched in Tatarstan in 2009. Currently, 131 services are available for citizens in electronic format. User’s activity has increased due to the Portal interface change. “In April we made the Portal of state services easier to understand by making the registration procedure clearer,” she said. Every Tatarstan citizen can now register a personal account.

As for the system “People’s control”, it was launched in April 2012. On the federal level it was recognized as the most technologically convenient and transparent tool of interaction between the civil society and authorities.
Chief of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Igor Artemiev has arrived in Tatarstan with a working visit. He was met by Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, first deputy PM Ravil Muratov, and other officials at the international airport “Kazan”.

To the point, Igor Artemiev arrived to participate in the international event “Day of competition in Russia” (September 11-13, 2012). Chiefs of competitive agencies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, and other countries, representatives of Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, BRICS, European Commission, Eurasian Economic Commission and CIS Executive Committee were invited to the event.

The event opened with a session of the international working group on issues of development and performance of oil and oil product markets. A roundtable dedicated to state preferences (government assistance) “Russia – EC” themed: “Ensuring observance of competitive conditions upon rendering government assistance in Russia and EC” will be held later on.

The U.S. Treasury will begin selling the most of its owned by a package of ordinary shares of American International Group Inc. and intends to gain $ 18 billion out of this sale, according to the Ministry of Finance press release.

Previous sales of the government shares have already reduced its stake in AIG from 92% to 53%, and now the package can be reduced to less than 20% (this will depend on the purchase price), The Wall Street Journal calculations show. AIG shares this year have already increased in price by 47%.
Football games were played on Saturday, September 8, as part of contest of the 2nd  Games among administrative staff of the executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the government of the Republic of Tatarstan in the "Vatan" stadium.
