On January 15, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, President of Cognitive Technologies Olga Uskova and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues of further cooperation, including obtainment of the residency status in Specialized Economic Zone “Innopolis”.

On January 15, speaking at a summing-up meeting of the Tatarstan Department of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastral Records and Cartography, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We need to clearly define boundaries of Tatarstan”.

On January 14, in Novo-Ogaryovo, Moscow Region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin of the Supervisory Board of the autonomous non-commercial organisation Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects.

The discussion focused on the Agency’s work in 2015 and its targets for the current year, particularly the implementation of the National Technology Initiative, development of the professional training system on the basis of international standards and ways of improving the business climate.

Today Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the final meeting of the republican branch of the Pension Fund of Russia. First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Department of the Treasury Marat Faizrakhmanov participated on board. The keynote address was held by Eduard Vafin the acting head of the RPF Republic of Tatarstan branch. He reminded that Russia has a new procedure for the formation of pension rights.

Russia's budget has not yet been adapted to the low price of oil, and therefore the country's authorities to adopt a number of decisions to change the fiscal policy, the head of the Russian Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov. "I want to say that, if the present conditions of the enterprise and the private sector are mainly adapted to the new conditions, just the budget, state-owned companies, the public sector still have to adapt to these conditions.

On January 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the 7th Gaidar Forum which main theme is “Russia and the World: Looking into the Future”.

The event takes place on 13-15 January at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in Moscow.

On January 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, rector of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Mau, representatives of regions – members of the Association of innovative regions of Russia took part in the presentation of rating “Innovative business in Russian regions” during Gaidar Forum-2016 in Moscow.  

On January 13, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in events of the Gaidar forum 2016 “Russia and the world: looking to the future”.

During his meeting with Director of Department for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and Competition of Russian Ministry of economic development Maksim Parshin, Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues of further cooperation and creation of conditions for entrepreneurial development.

On January 14, the project of Innokam innovative production center was presented at one of panel discussion of Gaidar forum-2016. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event.

Rector of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Mau was moderator of the discussion.

In 2014, the government announced a "ceasefire" in tax policy, pledging to 2018 not to raise the load. Then it seemed that the tax system is almost completely formed, and Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Shatalov, who is considered the architect of it, can leave with a calm heart. But very soon it became clear that the truce will not last long: in the budget of a huge hole, has already decided to take more taxes from oil companies and "Gazprom", and after 2018 it is possible increase in other taxes. What changes are waiting for the tax system, Shatalov said in an interview with "Vedomosti", and when asked about his possible resignation from the ministry said that it is now before the "very responsible" choice.
