At Sochi-2013 international investment forum’s plenary meeting, Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Prime Minister, stated that Russia needs to step away from the employment preservation policy and not to be afraid to cut inefficient work places.
“I do not think I will shock somebody here if I say that we are in for difficult times. And now, we need to use our advantage – we have a very low unemployment rate compared to the Western countries. We need to step away from the policy of preserving employment at any cost,” – he addressed the meeting.
