On August 3, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular board meeting of Tatneft Oil Company, which reviewed the Tatneft budget performance for six months of 2016 and approved the budget for August of the current year.

The 6th Silk Way Rally set off from Red Square in Moscow on July 8. The competition will take place in three countries: Russia, Kazakhstan and China, and will finish in Beijing on July 24.

Participants of the rally will travel the distance of 10, 000 km in 15 cities. 110 crossovers and trucks including KAMAZ trucks and jeeps of the legends of the world rally, Stéphane Peterhansel, Sébastien Loeb, and Cyril Despres will be competing for the victory.

On July 7, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai Dawood Al Shezawi discussed cooperation under the project of the exhibition complex “Kazan Expo” that is planned to be built near Kazan international airport.

Rustam Minnikhanov and President of World Skills International Simon Bartley laid the foundation stone of the complex in March of 2015.

Dawood Al Shezawi will also meet executives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and specialists of OOO “Kazan Expo”.

On July 7, at Tatarstan Governemnt House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired a regular board meeting of Tatspirtprom alcohol beverage manufacturer, which discussed results of financial-economic activity of the company, payment of taxes and fees to the budget and other current issues of the company's activities.

On July 6, at his meeting with Ambassador of Finland to Russia Mr Hannu Himanen during a two-day visit of Finnish partners to Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Finland established good business relations.  

Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the delegation and thanked Mr Ambassador for his help in the organization of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Helsinki on November 15-17, 2015, when meetings and negotiations with leadership of Finland, and Tatars living in Finland were held.

On July 5, during his working visit to Yelabuga region (Tatarstan) to mark the 10th anniversary since the Alabuga Special Econommic Zone foundation, Tatarstan President visited a plant for the float glass production “Trakya Glass Rus”. 

The list of distinguished guests included Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobianin, Chief of Russian Federal Tax Service Mikhail Mishustin, and others.

Accompanied by Director General of SEZ "Alabuga" Timur Shagivaleev the guests got acquainted with the production facilities and looked around workshops and equipment.

On July 5, in Moscow, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the second meeting of the working group of Presidential Economic Council on priorities of structural reforms and sustainable economic growth.

The meeting discussed a number of issues and measures to ensure economic growth in Russia. In particular, priorities of the country development for 2018-2024 were considered.

On July 2, at Tatarstan Government House, speaking at a regional video-conference with participation of all municipalities, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that capital repair of multi-apartment houses has been started at 790 of 830 objects included in the programme.

On July 1, at his meeting with Acting Head of the Republic of Tyva Sholban Kara-ool during his working visit to Tyva, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Tyva have great opportunities to develop their cooperation.

Welcoming the Tatarstan delegation, Sholban Kara-ool noted that the Republic of Tyva is interested in expanding cooperation with Tatarstan. "Our region has not realized its potential in full. Tatarstan, in its turn, holds leading positions in a number of areas. The republic is widely known for its developed petrochemical and oil industries, agriculture, machine-building sector,” he continued.  

28.06.2016 at a meeting of the State Council adopted a draft law on amendments to Article 2 of the republican law on the tax on property of organizations, which extends the reduced rate property tax at the level of 2016 and in the 2017.
