The first issue on the agenda of the nineteenth session of the deputies of the State Council was the draft of the republican law "On Amendments to the Budget 2016", which was presented the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gaizatullin. The bill was approved by the deputies and passed in the final reading.

On June 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an annual shareholders meeting of PJSC Tatneft Oil Company. The company Director General Nail Maganov made a keynote report on the main results of work in 2015.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan June 23, 2016 held a meeting with heads of financial bodies of municipal districts and urban districts on execution of local budgets in January-May 2016 and the expected execution of local budgets in June 2016.

On June 29, at his meeting with heads of leading TV channels at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan candidates will be delegated to the State Duma at the forthcoming elections that will be held on September 18.

On June 20, speaking at an opening of the Korea-Tatarstan business forum Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We are interested in attracting South Korean business and capital to our republic, will be glad to expand mutually beneficial ties and ready to provide overall support.”  

The forum was held in Seoul in the conference hall of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) within the framework he working visit of Minnikhanov to the Republic of Korea (June 19-20, 2016).

The average Urals price for the monitoring period from May 15 to June 14, 2016 amounted to $ 46.76167 per barrel, or $ 341.4 per ton. According to calculations by the Ministry of Finance of Russia oil export duty in Russia from July 1, 2016 will increase by $ 15.3 to $ 95.9 per ton.

On June 9, during their working meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board chairman of VTB24 Mikhail Zadornov signed agreement on cooperation between VTB24 and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties specified the list of joint projects and will sign additional agreement between the bank and relevant ministries.

Mikhail Zadornov noted that VTB24 is actively developing relations with corporate clients, such as KAMAZ PJSC. In 2015 the bank signed agreement with the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, and increased the fund’ limit by 2.5 times this year.

Another project is development of banking services for small businesses in rural areas, which will be implemented in the context of “Bank post” business. More than 160 service points will open in the republic in 2016.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that VTB24 is a major player in the Russian market.

On June 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired a board meeting of Tatspirtprom (manufacturer of alcoholic beverages in Tatarstan). 

The meeting discussed issues related to strategic development of the company. In particular, it was noted the company is working under  conditions of contraction of the vodka market in Russia. According to the data voiced at the meeting, the market volume decreased by 21 per cent in 2014 and by 7 per cent in 2015.

With this background, "Tatspirtprom" demonstrates a positive trend in sales: the company's share in the Russian market increased from 11.3 per cent in 2014 to 15.8 per cent in 2015.

On June 2, at a working meeting between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and German company Bosch Tatarstan Government House, the delegation's leader, Vice President Bosch of Security Systems Robert Mulatz said that he is glad Aeroflot air carrier is launing new direct flights Kazan- Frankfurt – Kazan from June 17.

On July 1, in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister chaired a board meeting of Tatenergosbyt (energy supplier).

The meeting began with electing the Board Chairman of the company and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov was unanimously reelected to this position.

The Board approved a plan of activities for 2016-2017 and reviewed the budget execution of the Tatenergosbyt for the 1st quarter of 2016. Director of the company Rifanur Suleimanov made a report on results of the company activity. Results of financial and economic activities of the company during the reporting period were presented. 

The Board also discussed a number of other issues relating to the company activities.
